Our Mission
We are a student resource center and a community-centered garden that aims to educate people about the local food systems in Riverside while actively engaging them in the importance of access to local & fresh produce. It serves as a sustainability hub that promotes service learning and community-based research on food systems through student-led projects and collaborations with the campus and community.
R'Garden is your Garden
The R'Garden is a multidisciplinary program rooted in student advocacy, and UCR's agricultural history. Located in Lot 30, Section 3, the space is just under 3 acres and contains fruit trees, row crops, a native pollinators hedge row, and community garden plots. We aim to provide a space centered around student leadership and climate action, help us create an environment you are proud of!
